How to make a coffee using ORIGAMI Dripper
What method do you use to brew coffee at home? Some of you may use instant coffee or a machine that brews it fully automatically.
Today, we are going to give you a recipe for delicious coffee using the ORIGAMI Dripper. Coffee beans have various extracts, and drip brewing extracts only their goodness as a liquid. It is a simple mechanism, which steams and extracts the coffee beans on the filter.
A. Tools required
- 1 ORIGAMI Dripper Air S (Dripper S is for 1-2 cups and Dripper M is for 3-4 cups.)
- 2 Paper filter (You can use either cone shape filters and wave shaped ones. It's a highly flexible dripper that can be used for a variety of recipes.)
- 3 Kettle
- 4 Scale
- 5 15g of coffee beans
- 6 250g of hot water (194°F-199°F)
B. Instructions
1. Set a filter in the dripper and pass the hot water through it.
2. Throw out the hot water and add coffee beans.
3. Shake the dripper to flatten it.
4. Set the timer just before you start adding hot water.
5. Add 40g of hot water in a circular motion.
Ensure that the entire beans are covered with hot water.
6. Steam for 40 seconds and add 40g of hot water.
By evenly covering the entire coffee beans in hot water, the aromas and flavors can be extracted from the entire beans, allowing the individuality and characteristics of the beans to be enjoyed more completely.
7. When the total weight reaches 80g, continue pouring hot water while keeping the kettle high. Continue pouring hot water until 250g of water is poured.
The tip of the kettle should be positioned in the middle.
8. Remove the dripper when the coffee has been completely drained.
The approximate time to finish extraction is 2-2.5 minutes
9. Remove the dripper and diffuse the coffee with a spoon
This will ensure a uniform coffee.
11. Pour coffee into a mug.
