Matcha Latte

Iced matcha latte

Ingredients (serves 1)


Ingredients Amount
Matcha 2 g (1 tsp)
Hot water 30 ml (about 80°C / 175°F)
Milk or plant-based milk 150–200 ml

Instructions

  1. Add 2 g of matcha to a katakuchi matcha
    bowl.If you have a sieve, sifting the matcha
    prevents clumps and makes it smoother.
  2. Pour in 30 ml of hot water and whisk well
    with a chasen until it forms a smooth paste.
  3. For a hot latte, transfer the whisked matcha
    to a cup and pour in warmed milk. For an iced latte, fill a glass with cold milk and
    ice, then pour in the matcha.
  4. Add sugar or honey to taste, and enjoy.
